Training and Certification
The use of drones in Canada is governed by Transport Canada regulations. Drone pilots operating all but the smallest drones (<250g) must be certified.
Raven West offers training that will lead candidates to achieve Transport Canada Basic or Advanced certifications. In partnership with Altex Academy, we offer a combination of online, self-directed learning and in-person, hands-on training. We also offer Flight Review services for pilots to complete their Advanced certification.
